- The suggested agenda was approved.
- Name of the new organization?

(ISCRAT)
- International Society for the Study of Human Activity (ISHA)
- International Society for Social and Cultural-historical Research on Human
Activity (ISSCRHA)
- International Society for Socio-Cultural-Historical Research on Human
Activity (ISSRHA)
- How to work with the Articles?
The Name and the Articles are to be commented upon by the members of the
Transition Committee. This should be done before November 1st, 2000. Mariane
Hedegaard should contact a lawyer and find out if there are any differences in
the registration procedure between different countries and then find out how to
proceed.
- Congress sites:
England, Estonia, Israel, Japan, and Spain have been suggested so far.
(Note: When this list was presented at the open participants meeting the same
evening, Italy was added as a possible site)
It was decided that a written application and argumentation for each site is
needed, about two pages where facilities and capacities (e.g., hotels,
conference facilities, languages, translations, travels, finances, and so on)
are described briefly. The proposal should be send to Mariane Hedegaard before
April 2001. She will send the applications to the members of the Transition
Committee.

The following steps will be taken:
- Next year a meeting will be held in Aarhus, Denmark, to decide:

- Minutes from this Transition Committee meeting will be published on the
ISCRAT homepage.
- In Amsterdam 2002 the Transition Committee will be dissolved and a new
Committee elected.
