Minutes of the General Meeting of ISCRAT

Fifth Congress, Amsterdam June 19, 2002

1. Chair of the meeting

   Mariane Hedegaard, President of ISCRAT, is the chair of the meeting.

2. Formation of ISCAR

   The ISCRAT Executive Committee has decided to dissolve ISCRAT in favor of a new organization, International Society for Cultural and Activity Research (ISCAR).

3. Election of members to the ISCAR Executive Committee

   To realize the intention of Article 20 in ISCAR's articles, the ISCRAT-SCCS Transition Committee divided the world into eleven regions. Elections were held for each region, with the requirement that executive committee members must come from the country within each region that historically has had the greatest participation in the past 3 Congresses.

   Irina Verenikina (Australia)

4. Place and time for next conference

   The next congress will be held in Sevilla, Spain in the last quarter of 2005.

5. Economy of ISCRAT

   Will close and will be reported to the ISCRAT members.
